About CPAAC

OUR MISSION

To be goodwill ambassadors who advocate and volunteer in support of the Chandler Police Department’s mission to provide a safe community

WHO WE ARE

CPAAC is a non-profit volunteer organization in Chandler, Arizona supporting the mission of the Chandler Police Department (CPD) and the Citizens Police Academy class sponsored by CPD.

CPAAC's membership is comprised of alumni from the Citizens Police Academy class who have a desire to give back to CPD and act as goodwill ambassadors to the community. All members are citizens who live, work, or go to school in the City of Chandler.

WHAT WE DO

CPAAC members apply what they have learned through the Citizens Police Academy class and leverage that knowledge to advocate public services on behalf of Chandler Police Department. Members share their knowledge with their family, friends, and community members to spread the awareness of resources and services provided by Chandler Police Department.

Members also support Chandler Police Department in other ways such as volunteering time during officer training events, community and open house events, and almost anywhere else Chandler Police Department can benefit from extra hands (non-enforcement only).

CPAAC also raises funds to support certain activities such as community outreach programs on behalf of Chandler Police Department, support and recognition of Chandler Police Department employees, assistance for officers (or their families) in the event of injury or death in the line of duty, support for retiring police K-9s, and more.
